Our aluminum alloys support a wide range of applications in the mechanical, electrical, and welding industries. During the cold forming process (such as wire drawing), our rod undergoes diameter reduction to improve its physical and mechanical properties. This makes our alloys well-suited for end uses in automotive, aerospace, and food processing, among others.
With Continuous Casting & Rolling (CCR) technology, we produce rod in diameters from 9.5 mm to 32 mm. This versatility, paired with our broad alloy portfolio, gives Esalrod a strong technical and commercial advantage over major competitors. Esalrod is also the only facility worldwide able to produce certain 2x (Al-Cu) and 7x (Al-Zn) series alloys in rod form using CCR technology—a key differentiator in our industry.
